Spring Blossoms
A beautiful, bright Spring morning gave way to a long awaited down pouring of rain, hooray! Most blossoms are barely out yet, so the damage should be minimal, the benefit likely optimal.
Spring Has Sprung
As Spring brings forth first pure white blossoms
One might like to dance delirious with joy
twist and shout it to the winds

First Signs of Spring
With the Sun's move in to Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, we start a brand new astrological year.
My view this morning
I pleased myself in bringing in a few Lilac sprigs in hopes of saving them from the cold and a predicted frost tonight. While the sun breaks through on and off, the snow flurries dance the air on and off too. I fear for the delicate blossoms, and the Lilacs especially, as they emerged only the other day. Lilacs seem to be my favorite ones. I do love the color purple in all it's variations, from pinks to lilacs to burgundies. Last year much of the glory got whipped away by one late frost in mid May, if I believed in prayer I would resort to it now.
First Day of Spring
March 21st, 1. day of Spring in the City Different in the Land of Enchantment
After one more thunder, hail and snow storm when winter asserted itself for the last time for this season.
Another deposit of several inches of very dry snow that easily blew or melted off the surfaces the very next day, our 1. day of Spring. Yes, we have the potential of snow, ice and frost way in to the month of May. But at least from now on it will no longer stick to create havoc with traveling conditions.
Notice how the Pueblo style architecture melds in to the landscape and creates a rather pleasant meeting of nature with culture.
